COP2//Design development

Here are some screen shots of the book being produced on Indesign. Using different layers, the digital aspect and the glow in the dark design can be separated.

The image above shows lots of scribbly lines, this was inspired by how brain activity is represented. This would be part of the glow in the dar design as it is the opposite of the neat, clear type that will be printed.

This diagram above shows the kind of way the glow in the dark content will be presented. This typeface looks handwritten which is the aesthetic desired. This gives a personal tone of voice.

The content that will be printed is very minimal and clean looking. Almost going for a clinical, informative tone of voice.the type face used is 'gill sans'. Their is a clean indication of the printed design and the glow in the dark design.

As a lot of the content is based on existing theories and scientific research it is important to include where it was sourced from.
