This collection of six stamps obviously represents England by the use of relevant imagery. Such as the phone box and London bus. It is also obvious because of the colours used; red blue and red. The aesthetics applied are very patriotic.

In comparison to the previous stamps, this collection uses the layout of the union jack to represent Great Britain rather than just relying on the colour ways. Also, instead of using photography, a simple line illustration is applied.

This collection of Roald Dahl stamps communicates an illustrative style featuring some of his books. As Roald Dahl is a very recognised British children's writer, the collection is relevant to represent the British postage stamp.

These three stamps designed by the royal mail have a cartoon aesthetic as they are each based on children's British TV programmes. They are brightly coloured and fun to look at.
