Stamp it//Paper cutting

Paper cutting is an art form that requires a lot of focus and attention to detail. It originated from China where it became very popular in West Asia and even Turkey as far back as the 16th Century.

Nowadays it is an incredibly popular craft all around Europe. It represents traditional techniques and skill. It also encourages designers to be more hands on and practical.

The idea of a paper-cut frame outlining the stamp could work quite effectively to promote recycling paper. Whether they are simple or more detailed, the concept of turning old paper into paper cut art is something that should be encouraged. It won't only encourage people to recycle and reuse paper but also to apply to something productive and get something creative out of it. After all, paper cutting is a craft based on tradition, history and culture.

The paper-cut doesn't just have to act as a frame, but can also create the imagery within.
