Postcards//Colour

As the brief states to focus on a colour, here is some research on how colour in photography can be manipulated.

Here the red really stands out against the black and white background. The focus on the stripy patttern is also drawn out because of the brightness of colour.

This image shows a less obvious way of making a colour stand out. However, it is its subtleness that draws the focus into the intensity of the blue and purple.

Even though this image has been edited, it still displays the main principle of enhancing colour.

This photograph shows that simple is sometimes better. Just bringing small elements out of  photo can change the whole perspective of an image.

As long as it is kept simple, this images shows that multiple colours can be inserted and focused on. The black background is a good contrast.
