It is important to look into some existing girl surfing companies to see how they promote their brand. Roxy is one of the most established brands and promote a healthy active lifestyle with a feminine touch. Here are some images that show the aesthetics of the brand. 




As a whole, the company uses calming images with strong yet not intimidating type. The images relate to a lifestyle as well as the sport. It has a refreshing aesthetic to the imagery and also inspiring. 

Billabong 




Billabong is also a leading female surf company. However their promotion is much more fashion led. Obviously they do contain surfing as well but it seems more girly and digital. It also feels as though they are promoting more of a product rather than a lifestyle. 


Volcom 






Volcom takes a different kind of direction with the branding. It has tomboy aesthetic rather making it really girly. However it still has elements of a feminine designer. This may because of the target audience. It is understandable that girls who surf may not be very girly therefore this brand is appealing to these people.
