Other than just using invisible ink to show a hidden message, here are some alternative design ideas.
This image above shows a message being reveled by tearing away a piece of paper which gives a sense of disposable material. Once this has been pulled off it, its original form cannot be resumed.

This idea displays the simple but effective paper tab design. By simply pulling away a piece of paper, another image appears. This state can be gained by repeating the action.

The paper wheel reveals a message as the paper spins round. Often their is a cut out where the message will show through. This is a very interactive way of presenting a hidden message.
